Site status update: 07/09/09
Beginning today, store owners may perform many of the basic listing edit functions directly from a product view page.
When you view one of your own product pages, you'll probably notice the area just below the "add to cart" area has been updated with new buttons:
![[image]](http://www.atomicmall.org/images/mainttools.gif)
Each of these buttons performs a specific maintenance function for the listing on that page:
- The "activate" button. It does two things: Activates items transported to Atomic Mall from other sites. Click it to make your recent auction transfer live and searchable. Restarts listings which were previously sold out or placed on hold. Clicking this button for a "zero qty" item will return it to live status with a quantity of "1" available for purchase. If a greater quantity is desired, it can be changed through a normal edit.
- The "edit" button. Click this one to visit the Creation Station, where a full arsenal of editing functions awaits.
- The "pause" button. Use it to place a listing on hold. Your item won't be deleted -- only "paused" and hidden from shoppers and site searches. When you're ready to make it live again, click the "activate" button. (note: paused items are deleted permanently by the system after 30 days with no activity)
- The "nuke" button. Should be self-explanatory -- just remember to use with caution. Listings deleted with this button cannot be recovered.
There *may* be additional maintenance tool buttons coming in the near future. If anyone has a suggestion for a cool/useful tool, fire away!
Happy Sales, Mike

While I love having these new button features, is it possible to add a Clone button to the line?
That would be extra great to have that button since I add every new listing by starting with hitting the clone button on a previous listing. This helps me make sure I didn't forget anything.

Since we are asking for stuff, how about putting the discount coupon in the batch edit so we can offer it on just selected items without having to do it one item at a time?

I see the new clone button on the item view... YES! Thank you! Thank you!
This place is so AWESOME! It never fails to amaze me how our suggestions and opinions matter to those who run Atomic Mall.

You mean the coupon code? It's meant to work as a storewide code for all items. If you only want certain items discounted, that's better served by using the batch editor to put them on sale.

Mike,
I have everything on sale in my diecast car lot store......Because I am pushing Tony Stewart items, On the splash I have to use code #XXXX for an additional $2.00 off on any Tony Stewart items.........But since I cannot apply that code to only Stewart items, a customer can really apply it to any purchase made in the store if they think about it. Is there anyway we can attach a code to just certain items?
I realize the code was meant to give to special customers or what not, but I was thinking of additional ways to use it. It is a great tool and just one more bit of proof that you are making AM the best site for both buyers and sellers.
Thanks Again for all you do
Steve
