Am I the only one bothered by the distortion in the thumbnails? They only look right if your image is perfectly square. Unfortunately, mine are mostly rectangular. It really makes the item look bad.
Also, for your consideration: How about using a gallery view for the stores instead of the list format?

This is a major pain for me too and I never have understood it, I know it can be corrected by cropping and adjusting the size of my pictures, but the time involved in doing this to the thousands of photos I brought with me to Atomic Mall makes it impossible for me to do. All other sites (blogger, photobucket, etc) that I use have thumbnails that are the same dimensional proportions as the full size photos. I list hundreds of oval platters and all of the thumbnails look like circular plates. It would be great if this were corrected, but I have no idea what effect it would have on the overall performance of the site or how difficult it would be for MZ and crew. If it is a major effort I would say it has a low priority for me. Just my two cents, Bill aka QJ

I know it can be done. But priority is the rub. It could just shink the image to a thumbnail and fill in white space to square it out. The way they look now, I wonder about being better off without them.
